I started playing drums professionally at the ripe old age of 11, playing a New Years Eve show with my Mom's Country Rock band. From there it was a love affair with his drums, taking paying gigs with local bands in Western New York. Playing Country, Top 40, Rock and Metal always came naturally to me as music was always played and encouraged in my house growing up. My mother pushed me to greater heights, supporting all the projects I found myself involved with.
I initially learned to play concert drums in grade school under the tutelage of Mr. Roger Gales and Mr. Wayne Blumrick. Soon after starting, I became interested in the drum set, and taught myself some basic beats. From there, I jumped in feet first playing with whomever I could. Word got out of my abilities, and I have worked ever since.
In the fall of 1989 I moved to Southern California to pursue my passion for the drums. I played for a wide variety of artists in many styles, from singer/songwriters, to established groups including former MCA recording artist, "Dead, White and Blue", earning praise for my meter, attitude and reliability. I found a more permanent home with the band “It’s Me Margaret”, and they set out to acquire a recording deal. They were signed to Rattlesnake Venom records in 1997 and recorded their debut CD, “Hurry Up And Bleed”. They garnered national airplay with the single “So Sorry” and played numerous shows in support of the CD.
In September of 2001, I appeared on Ed MacMahon’s Next Big Star television show and also locally on the LA-SPCA telethon alongside label-mates The Busboys. Since then I have continued my playing career. I have played with The Gypsy Sons, recording a stellar music video under the direction of Donnie Eicher, and played as a band member for Gary Myrick’s Guitarista.
I am currently playing with, The Remotes, 4 Those About 2 Rock, Vintage Halen ( who I toured Japan with last year) and X Nation.
I have been teaching at the Burbank Music Academy for the last 9 years earning high praise for my teaching style and ability to inspire my students through my enthusiasm for, and playing of, the drums.I believe that music, and more specifically, drums, have the ability to calm the brain and help achieve focus in a sort of meditative way. My goal is to bring that calming influence to my students and make my love of drums and music infectious!!!
He is currently the drummer for 5 projects including:
Alice In Cooperland (Alice Cooper Tribute band),
It’s Me Margaret (indie darlings),
The Remotes (TV Theme song tribute band),

Career highlights include:
Appearing on this years Emmy Awards with The Remotes for the 4th consecutive year. Toured Japan and Canada with Vintage Halen and True 2 Crue.
